TRANSCRANIAL MAGNETIC STIMULATION, TO BE FEATURED ON AMERICAN HEALTH FRONT, AN ABC PRIMETIME SHOW, SATURDAY, JANUARY 14 AT 7:30 PM
The January 14th special edition of American Health Front will feature some of the latest healthcare technologies available in New Hampshire. Tune in to learn more about Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), now offered at The Mental Health Center of Greater Manchester, for individuals 18 and older, in the treatment of major depressive disorder. TMS is a prescription treatment and requires a referral from a prescriber. It is a non-invasive, FDA-approved alternative treatment for those who suffer from depression, for which medications and psychotherapy have not provided relief.

The new TMS treatment offered at Bedford Counseling Associates, an affiliate program of The Mental Health Center of Greater Manchester, will be one of the featured segments of the show airing on January 14th. Dr. Ashwini Saxena, Chief Medical Officer at MHCGM will share specific information about the TMS treatment and the benefits of the technology. Currently, MHCGM is the only facility in the greater Manchester area to offer the MagVenture Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation treatment option for major depressive disorder.
