CPI Training is an evidence-based program that helps staff to recognize various levels of crisis behaviors in others and effectively manage the situation at every level to maximize safety, minimize harm, and enhance the therapeutic relationship.

This is a REQUIRED course for all clinical staff, and strongly encouraged for any staff who have interactions with patients at any level.  All staff in residential programs and Cypress Center must recertify every two years.

This is a blended course in which you will be given access to complete online content prior to engaging in an instructor led session for material review and additional instruction on safety interventions.  This course is offered on the third Wednesday of every month from 11AM-5PM.  Staff only need to complete the online portion and attend the instructor led session to meet the requirement for certification.
