As a result of this training, learners will be able to:
- Describe the core elements of the Zero Suicide approach
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of risk and protective factors for suicide in clinical practice
- Describe the association between access to lethal means and suicide
- Describe the contribution reducing access to lethal means has for preventing suicide
- Identify when a safety plan is needed
- Demonstrate ability to elicit suicide intent using the CASE Approach
- Describe the importance of trauma stewardship including self-care

This course is a virtual live event and provides 3.5 CEs in Suicide Prevention through the NASW, NH Chapter. This course also provides 3.5 CEs for nurses through the ANCC. Participants must have a working camera and microphone to full participate.
