Military-connected individuals have unique needs in and barriers to treatment. As a result of this course, learners will be able to:
- Describe the basics of military culture and its impact on care.
- Identify common problematic issues within the military connected community.
- Identify barriers to care for military connected individuals as well as solutions to those barriers.
- Demonstrate competent communication strategies when working with military connected individuals.
This is an interactive training. Participants are required to have a working camera and microphone to fully participate and claim CEs for this event. This course provides 2.0 Category A Continuing Education credits through the NASW, NH Chapter. This course also provides 2.0 contact hours for nurses through the ANCC.
