Easy Access, Greater Health
Whether you need to take advantage of one of our clinics or seminars or you’re simply interested in learning more about mental health, we have all the information you need right here.
Child Impact Program
This court-ordered, four-hour course is required of all parents of children under the age of 18 who are either in the process of divorce or, for other reasons, are required to have a parenting plan around custody and/or financial support.
The Child Impact Seminar helps parents understand the impact divorce, separation, and custody issues can have on children. You will learn advice for helping your children adjust to this new situation to avoid any potentially harmful effects. We focus on encouraging you to move beyond your troubled relationship as a couple and develop a newly-defined relationship as co-parents who find ways to work together to raise your children.
When:
Classes are held in either a four-hour Saturday morning session or are split between two evening sessions. Find class times listed on this page.
Where:
All Child Impact Classes are held via Zoom. Participants must have access to technology that allows for virtual attendance, including a working webcam and microphone. Co-parents must attend separate classes. Each participant and the court receives a certificate verifying attendance.
How:
The fee to register is $85 per individual. If you are receiving some form of public assistance you may be eligible for a reduced rate. To determine eligibility for tuition assistance, please click here. To register, see our list of available classes on this page. Click on the date that you would like to attend and complete the registration form.
Please note:
You must provide your court docket number/case number in order to receive a certificate upon class completion.
You will not receive a certificate upon class completion unless that information has been received by our team. If you have not been assigned a court docket number/case number, you are still permitted to take the class. However, you must reach out to our team to provide us with your court docket number/case number when it has been assigned to you. We will provide you with your certificate of completion at that time.
Weight-Loss Support Programs
We offer Weight Loss Support programs for individuals undergoing medical weight loss as well as weight loss surgery, including gastric bypass and gastric banding.
Our team of specialized counselors prepare participants for the challenges faced by the life changes presented by major weight loss. We also perform the required mental health assessment prior to surgery in addition to ongoing counseling to help manage post-weight loss issues.
Behavioral Health Groups. In conjunction with the New England Weight Management Institute, our team offers Lifestyle Changes. This six-session group program addresses common issues facing those who are preparing for surgery, as well as the behavioral changes needed to succeed post-surgery.
To schedule an appointment for a weight loss surgery mental health assessment, please call our scheduling department at (603) 668-4111, option 4.
